Andrew Stals - Chairman & Principal
Andrew has over 25 years’ experience in corporate advisory and tax including international tax, M&A, corporate tax, cross-border investment and corporate structures, financial markets, infrastructure and project financing, real estate, funds management and financial products.
After leaving legal practice, Andrew founded Minerva Capital Partners in 2015 to provide corporate advisory, structuring and risk management solutions to clients.
Andrew was a partner at Allen & Overy (2010-2014), Clayton Utz (2005-2010) and Blake Dawson Waldron (1999-2005).
Main clients included Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Macquarie Bank, UBS Investment Bank, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, National Australia Bank, Lloyds Banking Group, SAB Miller, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Banco Santander and Leighton Holdings.
In addition to his role as Chairman and Principal of Minerva Capital Partners, Andrew is also a director of hedge fund Spartan Asset Management, a director of Good2Give (G2G), Chair of the G2G Investment Committee and a director of law firm Saville Partners.
Andrew is registered as a principal (CTA) with the National Futures Association (NFA) which is a self-regulatory organisation of the US derivatives industry, including on-exchange traded futures, retail off-exchange foreign currency and OTC derivatives.

David Trude, Non-Executive Director
David is a senior corporate banking executive with 40 years experience in a variety of financial services roles within banking and securities industries.
David was CEO and Country Head of Credit Suisse in Australia (2000-2010) and prior to that he was the Head of the Australian Equity Group (1998-2008). He has also held a variety of senior positions within the Credit Suisse (First Boston) franchise and prior to that he was at MacNab Clarke & Partners, Clarke & Co and Bank of New South Wales (Westpac).
David is currently the Chairman of stock broker Baillieu Holst, Waterford Retirement Village, East West Line Parks Limited, Hansen Technologies and a board member of the stock exchange Chi-X Australia.

Brian Davies, Non-Executive Director
Brian has over 23 years experience in Investment Banking (UBS, Salomon, JPM), including Head of Fixed Income (Aust) Salomon Smith Barney, Head of Structured Capital Markets and Co-Head of Financial Institutions Group - Investment Banking - UBS.
Brian was the Co-Founder and previously CEO of Yellow Brick Road, which secured $40m private equity funding commitment in support of acquisition strategy.
He was the Lead Advisor on equity, debt and hybrid capital raisings for Australia’s major banks and corporates (including Westpac, CBA, NAB, Suncorp, Woolworths, PBL, Seven Group, DCA Healthcare, Patricks, Smorgon Steel).
Brian also has nine years experience in Corporate Advisory and Venture Capital across numerous M&A, financing and investment transactions, across a variety of sectors.
Ed has over 35 years of corporate experience including, most recently, nine years with Brookvine, a leading Australian placement agent, raising capital from both institutional and private investors for a broad range of investment manager clients
Previously he has held senior executive roles in industries as diverse as media, manufacturing, marketing, hospitality and semiconductors. These included ASX100 companies, start-ups, industry associations and not-for-profits where he was, variously, general manager, in-house counsel, CFO and GM Corporate Services
Ed has practised as a chartered accountant and barrister and is a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course.
